Darryl and Victor were honored to have Jock Boyer and two members of the Team Rwanda cycling team on this podcast. For those of you who don’t know about Team Rwanda, you can find out more at www.teamrwandacycling.org. But for those of you who do know something about their story, you’ll know it is nothing short of amazing.
A lot of questions could have been asked, but we focused this podcast on how cycling has changed their lives, and how they have helped inspire people in their country and around the world.
We apologize in advance for the quality of the recording. As you can imagine, the internet connection in Rwanda is not very good and there are times where the responses get cut off.
Please join us as we talk with Jock, Nathan, and Janvier from Team Rwanda.
In this podcast you’ll be inspired and learn more about:
- What cycling is like in the country of Rwanda
- What kind of bikes are available to ride
- What the community thinks of these cyclists and their coach
- What inspires these cyclists
- The Tour of Rwanda
- Rising from Ashes
- and so much more

Wonderful show fellas. Very moving, humbling, even among the technological interference there was hoping shining. Afterwards I took at look at teamrwandacycling.org. Inspiring work and comparatively for those of fortunate to live in a country where things are reasonably stable and opportunity abounds, it can be sad if we don’t realize how blessed we are. Good job and inspired story. Kudos to Jonathan Boyer!
FYI…”Rising From Ashes” just moved into my Netflix queue with a release date of 1/21/14.
