Hey Guys – Was sorry to hear this great show is coming to an end but totally understand you have your lives too and what a great back catalog you are leaving us with. I just got into cycling as a sport this year. Bought my first road bike in August, first Gran Fondo in September and now I’m riding CX. All part of my ‘inspiring’ mid-life crisis. When I was getting ready for the Fondo, I found your back episodes invaluable for helping me prepare both myself and my bike. I particularly liked the many episodes on climbing technique as the Fondo I rode had almost 2000m of climbing. With your help and guidance I dropped many a less prepared rider on those climbs :-).

Good fortune for where ever your lives take you from here.

  2. Victor and Darryl,

I’ve had this feeling in the pit of my stomach for the past year, as I’ve seen the length of your shows decrease and some of the things you’ve mentioned on the podcast hinted this might be coming. But I’m still very sorry to hear you’ve decided to stop doing the podcast. It was honestly the best cycling podcast out there and I’ve learned so much from both of you, so thank you for that! I guess one thing I felt was missing from your final podcast was what made you both decide to finally pull the plug, and also what do you both plan to do with the extra time you will have away from the podcast? I think I speak for all your listeners when I say thank you for all you’ve contributed to the cycling world via your podcast, and I wish you both the very best in your future pursuits!
